Privacy Policy

EFFECTIVE 15 SEPTEMBER 2026

This policy explains what Driven One does with information — on this website, in the Driven One web portal at app.bemoredriven.com, in our iOS and Android apps, and in the messages we send on behalf of our customers. If you only want the part about Google account data, jump to Google user data.

Who we are

Driven One is a product of Driven Software Solutions, Inc. ("Driven One", "we", "us"). We make performance operations software for pest control and field service companies. Our customers are businesses; the people who use our software are those businesses' owners, office staff and field technicians.

You can reach us about anything in this policy at [email protected].

Two different roles we play

This distinction matters, because it decides who you should talk to about your data.

When we decide — our own data

For our website visitors, people who request a demo, and the account administrators who sign up for Driven One, we decide what to collect and why. This policy governs that information, and you can contact us directly about it.

When our customer decides — their data

Most of the information inside Driven One belongs to the business using it. A pest control company loads in its own technicians, its own customers, and its own job records, and it decides what goes in, who sees it, and how long it stays. We process that information on their instructions, under our agreement with them.

If you are a technician at a company that uses Driven One, or a customer of one, and you want your information corrected or removed, that company is the right place to start. If you contact us instead, we will point you to them and help them act on it.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

What we use it for

  • Running the product — calculating scores, awarding incentive points, routing leads, delivering messages, generating review and referral requests.
  • Support — answering questions, diagnosing problems, and restoring data when something goes wrong.
  • Keeping it working — monitoring performance, fixing bugs, and improving features.
  • Security and abuse prevention — detecting unauthorised access, fraud and misuse.
  • Talking to you about Driven One — responding to demo requests and sending product and account communications. Marketing email always carries an unsubscribe link.
  • Legal obligations — tax, accounting, and responding to lawful requests.

We do not use customer business data to train machine learning models that serve other customers.

Google user data

Driven One asks for access to your Google Business Profile so that the reviews side of the product can work. You grant that access through Google's own consent screen, and you can withdraw it at any time.

What we access

  • The business locations on the Google Business Profile account you connect.
  • Reviews left on those locations, including the rating, review text, reviewer display name, and date.
  • The ability to post replies to those reviews on your behalf.

How we use it

  • Showing your reviews and rating inside Driven One.
  • Attributing a review to the technician who completed the job, so it can count toward that technician's performance score.
  • Surfacing negative reviews promptly so your team can follow up.
  • Posting replies that you or your team write or approve.

We use this data only to provide and improve these features, at your direction. We do not use it for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not use it to train generalised artificial intelligence or machine learning models.

How we store and protect it

Google access and refresh tokens are stored encrypted and are used only to make API calls for your account. Review content we retrieve is stored with the rest of your Driven One account data, under the same access controls.

How you revoke it

Disconnect the integration inside Driven One, or remove Driven One's access at myaccount.google.com/permissions. On revocation we stop making calls immediately and delete the stored tokens. To have the review data we already retrieved deleted as well, email [email protected].

Limited Use

Driven One's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Text messages

Driven One sends text messages on behalf of the businesses that use it — appointment updates, review requests, referral invitations, and replies from the shared inbox. Those messages come from the business's number, and the business decides who is messaged and what is said.

Recipients can stop them by replying STOP to any message, and get help by replying HELP. Message and data rates may apply. Mobile numbers and message content collected for this purpose are not sold, and are not shared with third parties for their own marketing.

Who else touches it

We share information with service providers who help us run Driven One, under contracts that limit them to that purpose:

  • Hosting and delivery — cloud infrastructure, content delivery and site analytics.
  • Messaging — SMS and email delivery providers.
  • Business systems — our CRM, scheduling and support tools, for sales and support contact.
  • Error monitoring — crash and diagnostic reporting.

We also disclose information when the law requires it, to protect our rights or someone's safety, and to a successor in a merger or acquisition — in which case this policy continues to apply until it is replaced and you are told. A current list of our subprocessors is available from [email protected] on request.

How long we keep it

Account and operational data is kept for as long as the business's account is active. When an account closes, we delete or anonymise it within 90 days, except where we are required to keep records longer for legal, tax or accounting reasons. Website and sales-enquiry records are kept for up to 24 months after last contact. Backups roll off on their own schedule, normally within 35 days.

Security

We encrypt data in transit and at rest, restrict access to the staff who need it, log administrative access, and review our controls regularly. No system is perfectly secure, and we will not pretend otherwise — but if a breach affects your information we will notify you and any regulator as the law requires.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, receive a portable copy, or object to or restrict certain processing. You also have the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

To make a request, email [email protected]. We will verify who you are before acting, and respond within the time the applicable law allows. If your information sits inside a Driven One account belonging to one of our business customers, we will forward your request to them and support them in answering it.

If you are in the EEA or the UK, our legal bases for processing are performance of a contract, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the product, your consent where we ask for it, and compliance with legal obligations. You may lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.

Where it is processed

Driven One is operated from the United States, and information we hold is processed there. If you use Driven One from elsewhere, you are sending your information to the United States, and we rely on appropriate safeguards for those transfers where the law requires them.

Children

Driven One is workplace software and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.

Cookies and analytics

This website uses cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for it to work, plus privacy-preserving analytics that tell us which pages are read. The Driven One product uses cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences. You can block cookies in your browser, though parts of the product will stop working if you block the necessary ones.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page when our practices change, and we will move the effective date at the top. If a change materially affects how we handle your information, we will give notice in the product or by email before it takes effect.
